Wholefoods

Zelda's Pod is primarily a wholefood store. Our products do not contain additives and take a minimal amount of production. At present we have good suppliers of grains, pulses, dried fruit and nuts, all available in sizes of 500g and above. There is a lot to be learned of the nutritional value of such foods, some of which will be highlighted in the recipes in this website.

A top priority in the wholefood section are the cereals of which the most popular is our own brand muesli deluxe. We also sell a steady amount of organic cereals by the brands Doves Farm, Whole Earth, Nature's path and Allos. Some of these are gluten free and many are wheat free.

As an alternative to grains we have a great range of pasta and noodles. These can be wheat free, nutritious and delicious.

Babyfoods

More and more people are becoming aware that a good diet for their child is the best start they can give them, and our baby food section is visited daily. We are proud to say that our fresh carrots have been the first dinner many children have eaten as solid food. When on the run however we sell a range of organic meals by Babynat, Hipp and Bio Bambini, all of which are organic. For babies who take formula milk we sell Hipp, Babynat and Nanny goat's milk.
